Picotechnology

A form of technology involving even smaller dimensions than nanotechnology; the picometer (one trillionth of a meter). Such technology is essentially atomic engineering versus the molecular engineering of nanotechnology. Atoms themselves can be manipulated by picotech within a molecule, thus picotech can subvert nanotech based entities. The AI, Jerusalem, is said to be based upon picotech computronium; etched atom processors.
