Aster Colora
Dragon's first contact with humanity was on Aster Colora, where it seems to have been located for thousands of years, when the first humans arrived via seed-ship runcible. After speaking to Ian Cormac, Dragon apparently destroys itself.
First Sphere
The first of the four spheres shows up again above Samarkand after the runcible incident. Cormac destroys it with a CTD.
Second Sphere
Cormac encounters the second sphere on his way to Masada. It is badly wounded from the Masadan's ship drives and on the verge of death. Cormac allows Dragon to attach itself to the Occam Razor and escort them to Masada. There it the Masadan shipyard on Flint and the Theocracy's laser arrays before crashing into the planet. From its substance several hundred Dracomen are "born".
