Angelina Pelter

Angelina Pelter is a member of the Separatist Movement on Cheyne III and the sister of Arian Pelter. She sees herself as a patriot defending her home against the tyranny of Earth Central. In Cormac's view, she is a terrorist personally responsible for three deaths, and with her brother indirectly responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Polity citizens. She has blond hair and violet eyes.

They become romantically entangled, and Cormac's lack of emotion convinces her that he is an inhuman machine, and thus an ECS agent. She tells him that they knew from the start that he was ECS, and that their lovemaking the night before meant nothing, as she chokes back the tears. She tries to shoot him on the beach with a proton gun, but he distracts her and kills her with Shuriken. Cormac disposes of her body by feeding it to a Dark Otter egg carrier. Enraged, Arian sets out to track down Cormac and exact revenge.
